Guitar building came a little later in life. Chris started dabbling with building acoustic guitars in his late 20's, and was initially self taught in the Art of Guitar making and then continued on to study with various Australian Luthiers
The School of Acoustic Guitar Making was then founded in 2002 and has expanded from a one-room workshop in Coldstream in the beautiful Yarra Valley to a NEW home at "Montsalvat" in the Eltham Hills in Victoria, Australia.
Additionally, he has also set up teaching acoustic guitar building once a year in Lucca, Italy and Stanley Tasmania.

There is no other Luthier in Australia that has done as much as Chris has in such a short time in the Industry
