Your Acoustic Guitar Building Course:

We have created a unique Guitar making experience just for you, combined with luxury accommodation options and with an exclusive 5 student per class environment, you get to relax, let go and return to a pace that only Master Craftsman know about!

 Under the watchful eye of Master Luthier - Chris Wynne you will pace yourself through every facet of hand crafting an Acoustic Guitar and embrace the older techniques of custom building such as bending your guitar sides and cutting the fretboard by hand

The course hours are around 8.30am till 5.30pm daily

You will get sundays off - depending on how fast your handcrafting comes along

Most accommodations take you for 14 days - so we aim to have your guitar finished in 12-14 days (60 to 80hrs)

The course is our main focus

 We will go on a day tour and enjoy occasional diners together throughout the course

Using only Australian Tonewoods, we give you a stunning choice of Inlay options for your Rosette, Fretboard and Headstock, including various body shape options for your Classical or Acoustic Guitar

     

Our 17th Century Baroque workshops are located in the lush Lucca countryside. 

 All Amenities, Tea & Coffee facilities provided.

So while your partner or family chooses from sitting by the pool, finding mediaval villages, sipping on fine Italian coffee, nibbling on local Italian Chocolate, shopping for local produce, hunting down Italian clothing stores, or just venturing off to the local area you can handcraft your instrument in total serenity...

Getting Around Italy: 

It is best that you hire a vehicle, especially if you have family with you.

We suggest that you hire your own small car to get to the local supermarkets & shopping centres. We will help with the transfers to and from the main train stations

The Rome Airport or has a train direct into Rome Termini, then you catch the next train out to Lucca where we will be waiting to collect you.

We will show you our favourite hidden local restaurants in local towns!

(All food costs and entertainment are at your expense including the final dinner at the end of your course) 

We use Europcar Hire

For Car hire purposes most of Italy is CLOSED on Sundays!

If you are coming in on a Sunday we will collect you from the train station then take you into town the next day to collect your car
