What You Experience!

1. Pre-course Customisation of your Acoustic Guitar:

Selecting the guitar style and shape you wish to custom build

Choosing your tonewoods from our range of Select Grade Australian Tonewood

Discussing any additional design options you may require

2. You will receive Instruction & Guidance in all areas of:

Bending of the guitar sides

Crafting the bracing patterns for the soundboard and back

Fitting the top, back and neck onto your guitar

Full Dovetail creation and installation of the neck to the body (NO Bolt on Necks)

Shaping the neck to your own personal playing requirements

Fretting your guitar to the scale length you desire

Designing your own bridge

Gluing, fitting and adjusting all areas of construction of your guitar

Sanding & Finishing your instrument 

Setting up your Guitar

All professional instruction, course content, guidance, tools and protective equipment are provided.

All courses are limited to a maximum of 4-5 students.
There are no pre-requisites for woodworking or machine handling.
Minimum enrolment age is 15 years of age

The course content covers how timbers work, why they work, the acoustics of wood and the best way to set-up and finish your guitar

Course Duration: 60-80 hours, 1 day a week for 10-12 weeks or 2 week intensives (depending on the guitar style you choose to handcraft)

 Course Price $3,330 AUD (as at January 2010)

(includes Fret dots, Machine heads, Strings, Truss rod, Nut, Saddle, Rosette and A Solid Carry Case - Your Guitar will be finshed and ready for you to take home and play)

Payment Terms:

2 Week Course - $500 deposit and then pay in Full the course fees on first day of Class

10 Week Course - $500 deposit and pay $1,415 on the 1st Day of Class and $1,415 in the 5th week of the course
